Kaiseki with the highest view of Shibuya Scramble Crossing

Camping at Starbucks Shibuya Tsutaya for a view of Shibuya Crossing is passé. Having came here every time, we decided to scout for a better vantage point.

Just cross the road to Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu and head to the higher floors to enjoy a magnificent view of Shibuya’s skyline and a bird’s eye view of the famed Shibuya Crossing. Better yet, why not take in the beauty of Shibuya whilst slowly savoring a Kaiseki (懐石, kaiseki-ryōri 懐石料理) meal at Shunsai (旬彩) on the 25th floor?

Thought the new Shibuya Stream skyscraper is much taller overall at 180 m, the Shibuya Stream Hotel Excel Hotel Tokyu only resides within 9F-13F, while 14F-35F are offices.

More accurately, it was an Ichiju-Sansai (一汁三菜)

Shunsai also serves the in-house guests, so arrive early to secure the window seats

We were first in time... having arrived at 6+ am

Doesn't this just warm the cockles of a weary Ronin?

PS: When we visited the last time (read here), we had an early breakfast at 7am. However, it seems breakfast is no longer available?
