Economical, cheap and good Chicken Rice, a plate of Chicken Rice/ Noodle cost S$3.00 and the Set, S$4.50, comes with a plate of vegetables.

We ordered half a chicken with additional roasted pork and vegetables which sets us back at S$16.00 (fit for 3 average eaters)

The nearest train station is Kovan, but you would still have to take a bus (about two stops away) and alight in front of Serangoon Junior College (closed) and take a short 3 min walk into the HDB flats to MTF Coffee Shop. It is still walkable from Kovan Station, but do note that most part of the walkway are unsheltered.


The stall opens at around 10 in the morning to about dinner time, 5/ 6pm depending on stocks availability. We would recommend lunch time to be safe, but do be prepared for a long queue especially on weekends


The couple who runs the stall have been around for more than a decade, their standards have maintained throughout these years. They done it good, they done it right and they made it cheap.
