YOSHINOYA (WAGYU GYUJU) HANEDA AIRPORT INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL

OUTLET VISITED

Yoshinoya (Haneda International Terminal branch)

Tokyo-to, Ota-ku, Haneda Kuko 2-6-5,

International Terminal General-use Area 4th floor

Operating Hours:

24 Hours

The last meal you might want to eat while you are leaving Tokyo. The only place you can get this 100% wagyu beef bowl (Wagyu Gyuju) from Yoshinoya in Japan. Yes you might be suprise, but due to the high cost of cattle raising in Japan, most of the beef served in Yoshinoya is imported. The eatery is located in the pre-security checkpoint of Haneda Airport International Terminal, look for the large scale replica of Nihonbashi (wooden bridge), go to the end of the bridge and there will be a row of eateries where Yoshinoya is also located.

Wagyu Gyuju, ¥1500, it comes with the beef bowl, a small bowl of pickles and miso soup.

(Additional charges: Taxes)

The Wagyu Gyuju is made to order and it takes about 5 to 10 minutes before it is being served. The Wagyu Gyuju is served in lacquered bento box instead of Yoshinoya’s usual open top bowl.

The wagyu is more on the sweet side, you can taste the dash of sweetness from the sukiyaki broth, far more flavourful than their standard beef bowl.

This is probably the final place, the final taste we could go to while emo-ing out of Japan.
