Nikuhoshi 肉星, our must go Wagyu grind place everytime we are at Osaka! Wide variety of wagyu beef, grades, cuts, at affordable prices. The wagyu they serve are the top 3 brands of Japan (Sandai Wagyu “the three big beefs)



Omi Beef, 近江牛, from Shiga Prefecture, said to be the oldest beef brand in Japan , about 120 years. Highly renowned for its fine-grained meat, sweet-tasting fat, and melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness

Kobe Beef, 神戸牛, from the Tajima strain of Japanese black cattle, valued for its flavour, tenderness and fatty, well-marbled texture


Matsusaka Beef, 松阪牛, reared under strict conditions in the Matsusaka region of Mie in Japan, only about 2500 cattles are slaughtered each year for Matsusaka beef, famous for its marbling, rich flavour and tenderness. All their cattles are given a 10-digit ID, their date of birth, location of birth, slaughtered date, shipping information and bloodline can be found by entering the ID on Mie Matsusaka Meat Corporation, www.mie-msk.co.jp



At Nikuhoshi 肉星, there will be a chiller full of wagyu cuts in front of their shop where you will start your wagyu adventure. Choose your meat, then they will start grilling your meat right in front of the shop and lead you to your seat inside. They aslo serve delicious ribs soup, cold noodles and affordable set meals.





It may look packed at times due to their many returning customers, but not to worry, the wait is relatively short and definitely worth it!
