Grilled King Crabs 帝王蟹, sweet tasting umami, juicy chunky meat, you can literally taste the ocean in your mouth. These crabs definitely worth getting your fingers soiled with juice.

Don't worry about hacking, smashing and breaking your nails for the crab meat, the shopkeepers will nicely cut up the crabs into parts and slit thru each and every part of the shell. All you need to do is to softly pry the shell open and and dig out the chunky juicy meat. 😋

There are quite a number of stalls around Kuromon Ichiba that serves King Crabs. Most of the stalls separate the crabs into plates and some of them actually pair them up with giant prawns or other seafood, prices can range from ¥5000 - ¥20000 depending on the size and parts of crab you choose.
